Minnesota Swarm Selects Six Players in 2006 NLL Entry Draft

NEW YORK, N.Y. - The National Lacrosse League's (NLL) Minnesota Swarm selected six players tonight in the 2006 NLL Entry Draft at The Theater Lobby at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Minnesota selected Tyler Hass (30th overall) and Kevin Crosswell (31st overall) in the third round, Kevin Milkowski in the fourth round (44th overall), Andrew Witt (57th overall) and Dave Ellis (63rd overall) in the fifth round and Hughie Johnson (70th overall) in the sixth round.
The Minnesota Swarm also announced the following trades tonight:
Minnesota traded the 19th overall selection in the 2006 Entry Draft and its fourth round pick in the 2007 Entry Draft to Toronto in exchange for Nick Inch and the Rock's second round pick in the 2007 Entry Draft.
Minnesota traded the 23rd overall selection in the 2006 Entry Draft to Arizona in exchange for the Sting's second round pick in the 2007 Entry Draft.
Minnesota acquired Buffalo's 30th overall selection in the 2006 Entry Draft in exchange for the Swarm's third round pick in the 2007 Entry Draft.
Minnesota acquired Buffalo's 63rd overall selection in the 2006 Entry Draft in exchange for the Swarm's fifth round pick in the 2007 Entry Draft.
