CARSON, Calif. (Wednesday, July 16, 2008) - A million-dollar winner's prize and a spot in the semifinals are on the line as Major League Soccer's Chivas USA plays its first official match in Orange County this weekend, when it takes on fellow MLS rival the New England Revolution at Titan Stadium on the campus of Cal State Fullerton on Sunday, July 20 at 5:00 p.m. PT. The match is the crucial third and final group game for both teams in SuperLiga 2008. Tickets, starting at just $15, are available by calling 1-877-CHIVAS-1 or visiting www.cdchivasusa.com, as well as at the Titan Stadium box office on gameday.

SuperLiga 2008 is the second annual tournament pitting eight top professional soccer clubs from the Mexican First Division and the U.S.'s Major League Soccer against each other for regional bragging rights and a million dollar winner's prize. Chivas USA look to emerge from a tough Group B - featuring SuperLiga 2007 champion Pachuca, reigning Mexican champion Santos Laguna and U.S. Open Cup champion New England Revolution - and advance to the semifinal round, starting July 29, including a potential matchup against parent club Chivas de Guadalajara.

Chivas USA plays its second game in SuperLiga 2008 tonight at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif., against Mexico's Santos Laguna. Kickoff is set for 7:00 p.m. PT. The match will be televised nationally on Spanish-language network TeleFutura (KFTR Ch. 46 Los Angeles & Orange County) and broadcast nationwide on ESPN Deportes Radio (KWKW 1330 AM in Southern California).
