Toronto Argonauts News Release

Mississauga - The Toronto Argonauts Football Club is thrilled to bring back All-Star running back Sean Millington to pro football. Today, Millington signed a practice roster agreement with the team. Millington retired in 2002 with two Grey Cup rings after being named a CFL All-Star three times, Most Outstanding Canadian twice and still holds the BC Lions single-game rushing record with 212 yards. Millington has most recently been seen as a panelist on CFL on CBC broadcasts.

Commented Millington, "I got the bug to come back to play football after Grey Cup 2004, began training in January and looking at my possibilities. I want to make a contribution. I have something to add to a team and feel very comfortable with the Argo staff, organization and players. I believe signing with the Argos gives me a great shot at getting back to the Grey Cup."

Toronto Argonauts Head Coach Michael "Pinball" Clemons enthused, "Sean's portfolio of yesterday speaks almost as loudly as his physique does today. He's obviously a great player who has kept his body in top physical condition that knows and understands the game. A player of this magnitude makes you a better team but he specifically brings talents that will directly augment our current offensive capacities. His great size and speed make him a great blocker and inside runner. Sean is also very adept at catching the ball and as important as any of these attributes, he's a great special teams player. Sean Millington is one of the most complete football players you'll find anywhere on the face of the earth."

Sean will take to the practice field today for the first time as an Argonaut.
