
Military Appreciation Night this Thursday

SOUTHAVEN --- This Thursday night, the Memphis RiverKings of the Central Hockey League will be showing their appreciation to those who are serving or have served our country. The team is holding Military Appreciation Night on Thursday when the team hosts the Wichita Thunder at 7:05 at the DeSoto Civic Center.
Any armed forces veteran or person showing military I.D. will receive a free Red Level ticket for the game. Those who would like to take advantage of this offer can pick up their ticket at the DCC box office today, tomorrow and during the day Thursday or just before the game that night. Just show your military I.D. or state your veteran status and receive your ticket.
That night's giveaway is WMC-TV Channel 5 CheerStix for the first 1500 fans through the doors. Fans will also be able to enjoy a dollar off all beverages during the game.
The RiverKings are coming off a three win weekend and are in first place in the Northeast Division with a 5-1-2 record and 12 standings points.
