Rocky Mountain Rage News Release
LAST WEEK'S RECORD: 0-2-1 OVERALL RECORD: 1-3-2, 4 pts., 4th Place Northwest Division
Nov. 3 @ Wichita Thunder, 3-2 Loss - In the first of three games in three days, the Rage fell to the division-rival Thunder. Trailing 3-1 entering the third, Anders Strome pulled Rocky Mountain within one mid-way through the period. But despite pulling the goaltender and generating several chances in the waning moments, the club never found the equalizer.
Nov. 4 @ Oklahoma City Blazers, 2-1 Shootout Loss - The Rage fired a season-high 37 shots on goal but only Dorian Anneck was able to break through and light the lamp. After the teams remained tied at one through overtime, it took until the ninth round of the shootout before the Blazers secured the win. Goaltender Trevor Cunning looked very sharp in his Rage debut, stopping 25 of 26 shots.
Nov. 5 @ Memphis RiverKings, 3-2 Loss - Rocky Mountain held a 2-1 lead until mid-way through the third off goals by Strome and Jordan Little. Memphis tied the game at 9:11 of the final frame, and the clubs looked to be headed to overtime before the RiverKings scored the game-winner with just 8.5 seconds remaining in regulation.
