Milam reassigned to Gwinnett

The Gwinnett Gladiators announced today that defenseman Troy Milam has been reassigned to the Gladiators from the San Antonio Rampage of the American Hockey League.

Milam returns to Gwinnett following his third stint in the American Hockey League. In 13 games with the Rampage, Milam tallied 2 assists and was +1 with 10 penalty minutes. In 20 games this season in the AHL, Milam has tallied 1 goal and 2 assists for 3 points.

The rookie out of Ferris State University attended the Cleveland Barrons Training camp before joining the Gladiators in September. In 60 regular season games with Gladiators, Milam has tallied 6 goals and 27 assists for 33 points including two power play goals.

Milam, as well as goaltender Michael Garnett, represented the Gladiators at the 2004 Par-A-Dice ECHL All Star game in Peoria, Illinois on January 21st. Milam tallied a goal and an assist for the Western Conference Stars in the contest.

Milam should be available for the Gladiators 7:35 p.m. playoff game tonight against the Mississippi Sea Wolves at the Arena at Gwinnett Center.
