
Mike Riley Joins Storm Staff for 2016-17 Season

Kearney, Neb. - The Tri-City Storm has hired Mike Riley as a video producer for the 2016-17 season. Riley will be in charge of creating, producing and editing videos for the Storm 's YouTube Page as well as helping with video elements for the Storm's in-game production.
"I am so excited for this opportunity to join the defending Clark Cup Champions for the 2016-17 season," said Riley. "I'm looking forward to continuing the standard of excellence established on the ice in the production studio."
"He's going to be instrumental in elevating the entertainment and sales aspect of the Storm and our company," said Monte Dakan, Executive President of Storm Hockey and the Viaero Center. "He'll provide the community with a better view of what we do here with during Storm games, concerts, and all other events that happen at our building. [Storm Owner] Mr. Brooks was generous enough to provide us with excellent video equipment and now we have someone to utilize it to its full capacity."
A "veteran in the industry", the 29-year-old comes to the Storm from Baltimore, Maryland, where the Salisbury University graduate has spent the last the last five years working in video production.
From 2013-16, Riley worked for OnTarget Challenge as a videographer, video editor and motion graphics designer. In particular, Riley extensively covered the 2014 and 2015 touring seasons of the Firefighter Combat Challenge and helping to display the program on ESPN3.
The Seagulls alum worked for Salisbury University in video production from 2012-13 and graduated from the school in 2012.
Stop by the Viaero Center Box Office on Thursday, September 1 starting at 11:00 a.m when single game tickets for the Storm's home schedule go on sale. Box Office hours are 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Here's the Storm's full promotional schedule .
Tickets are on sale for the Tri-City Storm's home preseason game on Friday, September 2 against the Lincoln Stars at the Viaero Center Box Office and online.
The game begins at 7:05 p.m. and is the Storm's first since winning the Clark Cup over the Dubuque Fighting Saints in May. Admission is free for season ticket holders and $5 for the public.
