SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. â Minnesota Wild General Manager Doug Risebrough has announced that the National Hockey League (NHL) club has reassigned D Zbynek Michalek (pronounced ZBIGH-nehk, mih-KHAL-ihk) to the Houston Aeros of the American Hockey League (AHL), the team's primary development affiliate. Michalek, 21 (12/23/82), was scoreless in eight games with the Wild this season. He appeared in his first career NHL contest January 16 vs. Pittsburgh.
The Aeros play host to the Utah Grizzlies tonight at 7 p.m. Center ice tickets are half off their normal $28 price tonight at Toyota Center.
