Oshawa Generals News Release

It was announced today that Michael Dal Colle, who is potential top 5 prospect in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft this weekend, has been invited to Canada's 2015 World Junior summer development camp.

Dal Colle, a 7th overall selection in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection, spent last season with the Generals accumulating 39 goals, with 56 assists, totalling 95 points in 67 games played in his sophomore campaign.

The 18-year-old, 6'2", left winger has represented Canada at the Ivan Hlinka Memorial Tournament, where he captured a gold medal in 2013, and also appeared in the 2013 Subway Super Series tournament in Oshawa this past year. Dal Colle also represented Team Ontario at the World U-17 Hockey Challenge in Quebec.

"Michael is a first class person and a tremendous talent so it is no surprise to me that he has been recognized by Hockey Canada" said Generals GM Roger Hunt.

The annual development camp will run in Brossard, Montreal and Sherbrooke, Quebec from Aug. 3-8 and will feature games against U20 teams from the Czech Republic and Russia.
