Saigeon and Candella to Attend National U17 Camp

CALGARY, AB-Hockey Canada, in partnership with the Canadian Hockey League announced Tuesday the 96 skaters who have been invited to the NationalUnder-17 Development Camp in Calgary from July 29th-August 4th.

Among the invitees are recently committedBelleville BullsBrandon Saigeon andCole Candellawho join 33 other OHL prospects in their national audition at the Markin MacPhail Centre in Calgary.

The roster that includes 36 defencemen and 60 forwards was selected byRyan Jankowski, Hockey Canada's Head Scout of men's national teams, together with regional scoutsDonald Audette (Quebec),Brad McEwen (West),Kevin Mitchell (Atlantic) andDarrell Woodley (Ontario).

Mississauga Steelheads defenceman Sean Day was the only current OHL skater included on the roster, with the other 34 prospects coming from the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.

Saigeon and Candella were the Bulls' first and second round draft picks in the 2014 OHL Priority Selection.
