KANNAPOLIS, N.C. (May 6, 2013) -- Leadoff man Micah Johnson stole a career-high four bases and scored two runs as the Kannapolis Intimiators dropped the Greensboro Grasshoppers, 4-2 (F/7), in the second game of Monday's doubleheader. The win, the team's first since April 24, snapped an 8-game losing streak, the team's longest since August 2006. Related Content

Game 1 Recap Micah Johnson Bio Box Score Johnson finished 1-3 at the plate while running his stolen base total to 25 on the season to lead all Minor Leagues. He singled to lead off the bottom of the first, and stolen second and third before scoring on a Ruben Sierra Jr. groundout. In the third, he walked and stole two bases again before coming home on a Jason Coats single to tie the game, 2-2.

The similarly-named Michael Johnson provided the go-ahead run in the fourth inning. He led off with a double and scored on a Greensboro error when Alfredo Lopez dropped a ball at first base and allowed it to get past him.

Angel Rosario aided a two-out insurance run in the fifth inning with a base hit. Two batters later, Jean Almanzar drove him home for a 4-2 edge.

The Grasshoppers threatened to overtake the Intimidators in the fifth inning. Kannapolis led 3-2 as Greensboro loaded the bases with two outs against starter Jefferson Olacio. Todd Kibby came in to record the final out of the inning, stranding three runners as Coats tracked down a Jesus Solarzano fly ball at the wall in right field to end the frame. Kibby (1-0) earned the win throwing two pitches.

Olacio worked 4 2/3 innings, striking out a season-high five batters while allowing two runs (one earned) on five hits. Kyle Hansen, the White Sox sixth round pick in the June 2012 draft, made his season debut, tossing two scoreless innings -- striking out four -- for the save (1).

Greensboro's Helpi Reyes (0-2) took the loss, working 1 2/3 innings in relief of starter Brian Ellington.
