Jersey Shore BlueClaws News Release
LAKEWOOD, NJ - The BlueClaws have partnered with Shore Point Distributing and opened a Craft Brew House on the right-field concourse adjacent to the Asbury Park Press Food Court. The Craft Brew House will be open at all remaining BlueClaws home games.
The Craft Brew House will have a series of different craft brews available for $7 in 20 ounce glasses and will have a beach-themed sitting area.
"We are very excited to be able to offer this Craft Brew House at the ballpark," said BlueClaws General Manager Brandon Marano. "We have some great, and unique, beers among an expanded selection for our fans."
Below, find the available beers in the Craft Brew House at FirstEnergy Park.
Ommegang Witte
A traditional Belgian-style wheat ale with whispers of sweet orange and a touch of tart lemon. Spicy and refreshing.
Mothers Milk
Mother's Milk, as the name implies, is a dark and creamy milk stout. Hints of oatmeal, chocolate and of course, milk make Mother's Milk's remarkably smooth and silky finish a classic example of the style.
Hoptical Illusion
Generous amount of selected hops balance out the malty backbone of this delicious golden India Pale Ale.
Flying Fish FarmHouse Summer Ale
A tribute to the highly drinkable "every day" beers from French-speaking Belgium. Contains Belgian two-row pale malt and 7% wheat. This beer is lightly filtered with an earthy, spicy hop character from imported Styrian Goldings hops and a beautiful rich creamy head from the wheat. Dry quenching finish achieved by use of the traditional sour mash process.
Brooklyn Summer Ale
Brooklyn Summer Ale is a modern rendition of the "Light Dinner Ales" brewed in England throughout the 1800's right up until the 1940's. They were also called "luncheon ales" or even "family ales," because they were refreshing and flavorful without being too heavy. They brew their Brooklyn Summer Ale from premium English barley malt, which gives this light-bodied golden beer a fresh bready flavor. German and American hops lend a light, crisp bitterness and a citrus/floral aroma resulting in a beer with a very sunny disposition.
Harpoon IPA
This copper colored ale is floral, medium bodied, with a crisp, refreshing finish. Originally our summer seasonal in 1993, it is now available year-round. Harpoon IPA was ranked atop both domestic and imported IPAs by Beer Connoisseur Magazine.
Additionally, there will be a series of events there throughout the year, like beer education classes from a guest brew master. BlueClaws.com will have more on these events as the season progresses.
Tickets to all remaining BlueClaws home games are available by calling 732-901-7000 option 2 or online.
