Meunier Replaces Bishai on Southern Roster For Compuware/ECHL All-Star Game

PRINCETON, N.J. – The East Coast Hockey League on Friday announced that Florida rookie Laurent Meunier will replace Columbus rookie Mike Bishai on the Southern Conference roster for the 2003 Compuware/ECHL All-Star Game to be played at 7:30 p.m. ET on Tuesday.

Bishai was called up to Hamilton of the American Hockey League on Friday. Meunier was chosen as a result of receiving the next most votes.

The 23-year-old Meunier is tied for the ECHL lead among rookies with four game-winning goals and is tied for 15th in scoring among rookies with 28 points (9g-19a).
