Mets Option Evans, Pridie, Stoner To Buffalo; Reassign Davis To Minor League Camp

The New York Mets today announced that they have optioned INF/OF NICK EVANS, OF JASON PRIDIE and RHP TOBI STONER to the Bisons. In addition, the Mets also announced that they have reassigned INF IKE DAVIS, INF JOLBERT CABRERA and C SHAWN RIGGANS to minor league camp.

Stoner was 7-7 with a 3.96ERA in 16 starts with the Bisons in 2009. He finished tied for the team lead in wins. Evans hit.211 (50-237) with a team-high 10 home runs and 30RBI in 66 games for the Herd last season. Pridie hit.265 (136-513) with nine home runs and 53RBI in 121 games with the Rochester Red Wings in 2009.
