
SWB Yankees Box Office Opens

Moosic, PA - The Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees will open the box office at PNC Field for individual game tickets for the 2010 season beginning on Thursday, April 1, beginning at 10:00 AM. Those interested in group sales and season tickets can purchase their tickets beginning at 9:30 AM. Fans will be able to purchase individual game tickets in person or over the phone. However that won't be the first opportunity for fans to get tickets for any of the 72 home games at PNC Field in 2010.
Season ticket holders will get the first opportunity to purchase individual game tickets via the internet with a pre-sale event starting on March 24th at 10:00 AM ending on March 25th at 11:59 PM. Individuals looking to purchase individual tickets, who are not all ready season ticket package holders with the Yankees can also get the jump on the PNC Field Box Office opening with a special internet pre-sale event beginning at 10:00 AM on March 26. Once the public presale of tickets begins on the 26th, fans will be able to purchase tickets on line until the end of the 2010 season.
The Yankees open the 2010 season at PNC Field on Thursday, April 8th with a 7:05 PM start versus the Buffalo Bisons, the Triple-A affiliate of the New York Mets. The season and home opener is part of a nine game home stand to start off the 2010 campaign.
The 2010 season features eight post game fireworks shows: April 8, May 14, May 28, June 25, July 3, July 16, July 30, August 27, September 3 and 4, as well as fantastic dates with the hottest outside entertainment in professional baseball. REGGY makes two appearances at PNC Field this season: May 15 at 1:05 PM and June 26 at 7:05 PM. The ZOOperstars! are back on June 12 at 7:05 PM, while Skyydogs USA returns for its second consecutive season on July 31 at 7:05 PM. The world famous, Famous Chicken makes his annual appearance at PNC Field on August 28 at 7:05 PM.
