The Buffalo Bisons defeated the New Orleans Zephyrs, 3-1, on Tuesday afternoon from Jupiter, FL to improve to 3-0 so far this spring.
The Bisons have six more games remaining on their spring exhibition schedule. The Herd will face the Memphis Redbirds on Thursday, March 25 in Jupiter, FL.
LHP ADAM PETTYJOHN was credited with the win as he allowed just one run in three innings of work. Pettyjohn joined the Bisons on July 27 last season and went 3-5 with a 3.56ERA in nine games with Buffalo.
The Herd bullpen combined to throw six shutout innings. LHP BOBBY LIVINGSTON struck out two over his two innings of work. LHP MIKE O'CONNOR also threw a pair of shutout frames.
OF JESUS FELICIANO, C JOSH THOLE and INF D.J. WABICK all drove in runs for the Bisons.
