Mets Hosting Independence Day Fireworks Extravaganza

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The St. Lucie Mets are excited put on the best pyrotechnic display on the Treasure Coast after they clash with the Bradenton Marauders at First Data Field on Independence Day.

Wednesday's July 4th game and fireworks show is presented by Coca-Cola. The game begins at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening to fans at 4:30 p.m. Fireworks will like up the night sky immediately following the action on the field. The game is the start of a five-day home stand against the Marauders and Dunedin Blue Jays.

New this year is the All-You-Can-Drink package. For $40 fans can get a ticket and access to all-you-can-drink beer, wine and mixed drinks at a private bar from 5:30-7:30 p.m. A hot dog vouches is also included. There is limited space for this special deal so interested fans are should inquire ahead of time.

Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to avoid the lines on game day. Tickets are $12 for lower level and $10 for upper reserve.

Tickets can be purchased online at www.stluciemets.com, over the phone by calling 772-871-2115 during business hours or in person at the box office beginning at 10 a.m. on Monday.

The series against Bradenton continues on Thursday with Dollar Night. Fans can enjoy $1 Budweiser and Bud Light (8 oz. cans), $1 hot dogs, $1 soda and $1 popcorn.

The Mets host Dunedin from Friday-Sunday. Saturday's game will also feature postgame fireworks.
