DUNEDIN, Fla. - The Dunedin Blue Jays put together a three-run sixth inning en route to a 4-1 win against the St. Lucie Mets on Saturday at Dunedin Stadium.

David Wright and Jay Bruce continued their rehab assignments with St. Lucie. Both players went 0 for 4. Wright played seven innings at third base while Bruce played the entire game at first base.

The Mets got on the board first when Desmond Lindsay's single brought home Mike Paez in the second inning. The Mets went on to load the bases with no outs in the inning but Blue Jays starter Zach Logue struck out three in a row to limit the Mets to a 1-0 lead.

Dunedin tied the game in the fifth inning when Kevin Smith ripped a RBI double.

The Blue Jays scored three runs in the sixth inning to take the lead and pull away. Rodrigo Orozco singled up the middle to plate Logan Warmoth. Yeltsin Gudino followed with another RBI infield single to make it 3-1. The next batter Joshua Palacios brought home the final run on a booted ball.

Logue fired six innings to get the win. He held the Mets to six hits and the one run. The Mets sent five batters to the plate against Logue with a runner on third base and Logue retired all five, including four on strikeouts.

Angel Perdomo tossed two scoreless and hitless innings to finish the game for his first save.

Mets starter Joe Cavallaro was tagged for four runs and nine hits over five innings.

Sanchez and Lindsay had two hits apiece.

The Mets (23-31, 50-71) and Blue Jays (31-26, 62-62) wrap up their three-game series at Dunedin Stadium on Sunday. First pitch is 1 p.m.
