Tickets: Tickets for the MetroStars-Power doubleheader are available through the Power box office at 1-866-POWRTIX (1-866-769-7849), through www.nypower.com and at all area Ticketmaster outlets. Tickets are priced at $12 (youths aged 12 and under), $17, $20 and $25. All MetroMember season ticket holders and Mighty Metros Fan Club members can obtain the NY Power season ticket holder discounted ticket prices for the doubleheader by contacting their MetroStars account manager at 1-888-4-METROTIX.
Transportation Note: A mini-bus will be running shuttles between Mineola train Station and Mitchel Athletic Complex, beginning at 5pm and ending at 12:30am. It takes approximately 10-15 minutes to get from the field to the train station.

Columbus up next (again): The MetroStars take on Columbus again Wednesday night, this time in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Quarterfinals at the Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale, NY. The game will follow the 7:00 p.m. WUSA match between the New York Power and the Carolina Courage. The MetroStars remain in first place in the Eastern Conference, despite a second consecutive loss last Wednesday, this time 3-2 at home against the Crew. The Metros are just one point ahead of both Columbus and Chicago in the Eastern Conference Standings.

Historic Hospitality: The home teams have been surprisingly generous in recent history between the Crew and MetroStars. The road team has won nine of the last ten meetings between the two teams, dating back to 1999. Columbus has won the last five matches at Giants Stadium, but the MetroStars hope that it will be a different story on Long Island.

The Return of the Midweek blues: The MetroStars returned to their disappointing midweek MLS form last Wednesday, losing at home 3-2. The Metros are now 1-4 on the year in weekday MLS games, their only win coming July 24 in Kansas City. In that game, Brazilian striker Rodrigo Faria notched the first midweek Metro goal of the year after 22 minutes, set up Mamadou Diallo's 26th-minute game-winner, and notched an insurance tally in stoppage time of the 3-1 win. He was considered as a candidate for MLS Player of the Week.

League Leaders: Mamadou Diallo is tied for third in MLS in scoring after notching a goal and an assist against Columbus. The Senegalese giant has 12 goals and 4 assists for 28 points in only 17 games, ranking him first in the league in points per game (1.96) and third in goals. Another part of the New England trade, midfielder Andy Williams is second in MLS with 12 assists, and tied for first in primary assists with eight. Due to such prowess on the ball, the Jamaican international is the most fouled player in MLS (64). The MetroStars are also third in the league with an average home attendance of 18,788.

Scoring Two Helps: The MetroStars are 8-3-0 this year in league games where they score two or more goals.

75' Minute Says It All: The team is 7-0-0 when leading in the 75' minute. They are 0-9-0 when trailing in the 75'. They are 2-1-2 when tied in the 75'.

Give Me Some Light!: The team is 5-2-0 in day games this season. At night, they are 4-8-2.

Scoring First Helps: The team is 7-3-1 when scoring first, but 2-7-1 when the opponents get that first goal.

Surviving on the Road: The team is 1-5 in one-goal games at Giants Stadium, but a positive 4-1 on the road.
