Green Bay Blizzard News Release
This Saturday afternoon, Menominee Casino is throwing a party for the members of their MVP Club, and they're bringing the Green Bay Blizzard along to help celebrate - and to award fans with $20,000 in prizes!
The "$20,000 Blizzard of Cash & Fun" party will be held on Saturday, June 3rd, 2006 from 3:00-7:30pm at Menominee Casino in Keshena. Blizzard players will be on hand to sign autographs, as well as members of the coaching staff, The Green Bay Freeze Dance Team and the Blizzard Front Office.
The promotion, which began April 1st, 2006, gives MVP Club members the chance to earn entries into the drawing by accruing points on their MVP Cards. For every 50 points earned on the Card, another entry for the drawing is earned. The drawing will be held at the party, and $20,000 in cash and prizes will be given away. Membership in the MVP Club is absolutely free, and fans can sign up at the MVP Booth inside the Casino.
Earlier this season, Menominee Casino hosted a "Meet & Greet" party for Blizzard season ticket holders to introduce them to the new team. Dozens of fans turned out for the party, and were treated to autographs from the entire 2006 team, the coaches, and Blizzard President Brian Noble. While the first party was only for season ticket holders, this weekend's event is open to the public, and everyone age 21 and older is welcome to attend.
