Charity Golf Tournament To Feature Sports Celebrities

Manchester Wolves' managing partner Steve Schubert, a former player for the Chicago Bears and New England Patriots of the National Football League, will host the 30 th Annual Panteli/Kotrotsios Memorial Golf Tournament on Friday, June 2, 2006, at 9:00 a.m. at the Derryfield Country Club in Manchester.

Sports celebrities from the National Hockey League, National Football League and Major League Baseball, as well as college coaches and golf professionals will be on hand at the event to mingle with fans and sign autographs. The tournament will feature a scramble format in which one celebrity will join an amateur foursome for the round. Members of the Manchester Wolves Dance Team, and Blitz the mascot will also be hand, so make sure you bring your camera and sharpie to collect autographs and take photos!

"It's the 30th year of the tournament and I'm proud to say that we've been able to donate over a half million dollars to youth groups in and around the greater Manchester area," said Schubert, who has played host of the tournament since its inception. "It's going to be a fun time for all and I look forward to hosting this event for many more years to come."

The individual entry fee for the tournament is $150, with a foursome fee costing $600. A tee sponsorship is also available for $100, while a foursome and tee sponsorship costs $675. The entry fee includes a pair of tickets to the Manchester Wolves' June 3 rd game against the Tulsa Talons at Brady Sullivan Field at the Verizon Wireless Arena. Registration starts at 8:00 a.m. with the shotgun start at 9:00 a.m., followed by cocktails and dinner from 2:30-3:30 p.m. and the awards and auction section at 4:00 p.m.

Sponsors include the Manchester Wolves, New Hampshire's professional arenafootball2 team, along with Coca-Cola Bottling Company, C.B. Sullivan Co. Inc., UBS Financial Services, American Airlines and Bonneville and Sons. Tournament proceeds will benefit Coca-Cola Charities, Manchester High School Central Little Green Gridiron Club, Candia Youth Athletic Association and East Cobras Pop Warner Football.

The Manchester Wolves (4-4) will be looking to continue their two-game win streak on June 3 rd when they take on the Tulsa Talons (5-3) for the first time ever. The game will be sponsored by the Catholic Medical Center, with the first 3,000 fans receiving a FREE CMC/Wolves cap! Wolves' fans will also be treated to a special performance by local band Recycled Percussion on the Verizon plaza before the game!
