Amarillo Venom News Release

The Amarillo Dusters announced today the assignment from the af2 league office of WR/DB Craig Fulton. Better known as "Spazz", Fulton was a key contributor to the Dusters' success in 2004 and 2005.

"Craig had some personal business that he needed to take care of prior to joining us, and he's done that," said Dusters Head Coach Steve Perdue. "He brings a level of intensity and fire that I think we need. He can play any of the three receiver positions, defensive back, and jack linebacker. He could return kicks if we needed him to, and he'll sell out on kick coverage. He'll do just about anything we need him to do for us to win. He's a fierce competitor."

In 2005, Fulton had 25 catches for 280 yards and 6 touchdowns. Defensively, he had 34 tackles, 1 interception, 6 pass break-ups, 1 forced fumble, and 1 fumble recovery.

Fulton is expected to see action in Saturday night's contest at Bakersfield.
