Memphis 901 FC's Drew Romig Nominated for USL Championship Save of the Month

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - Memphis 901 FC goalkeeper Drew Romig has been tabbed as one of four shot-stoppers nominated for the USL Championship Save of the Month.
Romig's diving save on May 6 against Charleston Battery helped seal the 2-0 shutout victory in the 84th minute despite 901 FC playing with 10 men. Romig's lone start this season resulted in a clean sheet and kick-started the club's four-game winning streak, the longest current streak in the USL Championship. Memphis 901 FC boasts the best defensive record in the Eastern Conference with 10 goals conceded through 11 games.

Memphis 901 FC returns home to AutoZone Park on Saturday, June 4 vs. Atlanta United 2. Kickoff is at 7:30 p.m CT.
