Members Announced For 2008 Inferno Dance Team

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indiana Fever has announced the members of its 2008 Inferno dance team. The Inferno is the official dance team of the Fever, appearing at all home games throughout its summer season.

This spirited and enthusiastic group of young male and female dancers gets Fever fans energized and on their feet moving to the beat of the music. Their explosive tumbling and high-energy hip-hop dance routines are performed during every Fever home game.

In addition to game performances, the Inferno dance team makes appearances throughout the spring and summer months. The dance team joins Fever players, coaches and front office staff at various community events.

Following the 2008 WNBA Draft on April 9, training camps open April 20. The Fever hosts a preseason game on May 7 against the Minnesota Lynx (7:00 p.m.) with its regular season opening game at Conseco Fieldhouse, May 17 against the Washington Mystics (7:00 p.m.). Led by WNBA All-Stars Tamika Catchings, Katie Douglas and Tammy Sutton-Brown, the Fever bids for its first WNBA Finals appearance after reaching the Eastern Conference Finals in two of the past three seasons.
