Rockford, Ill.- The Rockford IceHogs, in conjunction with Miller Lite, will hold a meet the team party on Wednesday, October 20, hosted by the Olympic Tavern. The party begins at 7:00 p.m. and all of the 2004-05 Rockford IceHogs players along with Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations Steve Martinson will be on hand to sign autographs and meet fans.
Players and coaches will be at the Olympic Tavern until 9:00 p.m. The Olympic Tavern is located at 2327 N. Main St. in Rockford. Fans can enjoy Miller Lite specials and great food at the Olympic Tavern. The Miller Lite Meet The Team Party is open to the public and there is no admission charge.
The party marks the first time IceHogs fans can meet this season ¬â¢s IceHogs squad. The team posted the franchises first ever perfect weekend, knocking off the rival Quad City Mallards on Friday 8-4 and Kalamazoo Wings 4-2 on Saturday. Next Home Game: Friday, October 22 vs. Missouri River Otters. The puck will drop at 7:05 p.m. The first 1,000 fans to the game will receive Smash Hit Hockey Poster #1, courtesy of Pepsi, Medicine Man, Johnson Press and The Eagle, 96.7 FM.
