SPOKANE, Wash. - The Spokane Indians and the Mobil Super "Go the Distance" Baseball Tour are teaming up to bring former National League MVP Steve Garvey to Avista Stadium tomorrow, Tuesday, September 1st. Tickets are still available by calling the Spokane Indians Ticket Office at (509) 343-OTTO (6886) or by clicking here!

Garvey, a member of the famous 1970 Spokane Indians, will be on hand to meet and greet fans at Avista Stadium before throwing out the first pitch. Garvey accumulated 10 All-Star Game appearances, four Gold Glove awards and was named 1974 National League MVP during his 19 year MLB career. He holds the record for the highest career fielding percentage by a first baseman and is the only player in the history of baseball to have an errorless season at first base.

Before, during and after the game, Mobil Super brand ambassadors and the Mobil Super Sam mascot will greet fans outside the ballpark, distributing product information, rebate coupons and Mobil Super-branded baseball souvenirs. Fans also have the opportunity to win free product or oil changes through a prize wheel and on-field activities.

Mobil Super is a comprehensive line of premium-quality motor oils expertly formulated to help extend engine life. Backed by the Mobil Super Engine Guarantee, the Mobil Super family includes three products, allowing consumers to choose the right motor oil for their particular needs.

For tickets, call the Spokane Indians Ticket Office at (509) 343-OTTO (6886)!
