TROY, NY - Jose Medina clubbed two home runs, Christian James turned in a quality start, leading the Brooklyn Cyclones, the Short Season, Class A affiliate of the New York Mets, to an 11-5 win over the Tri-City ValleyCats Wednesday night in the middle game of a three-game set at Bruno Stadium.

Jose Medina went 2-4 with a pair of home runs, including a three-run opposite field blast and a 404-foot solo shot to left-center field in the eighth inning.

Christian James struck out five over six innings of three-hit ball, surrendering a three-run home run to Alex McKenna to tie the game in the bottom of the first 3-3.

Anthony Dirocie pushed Brooklyn's lead to 3-0 in the first with a two-run single against Tri-City reliever Juan Pablo Lopez. KEY CYCLONES CONTRIBUTORS
