Lincoln, Neb. - The Lincoln Stars are hosting Beach Night presented by Double Eagle on Friday, Jan. 27 and 'MERICA Night presented by Thunder Alley on Saturday, Jan. 28 for a two-game set against the Fargo Force this weekend.
Board shorts and swimsuits will be acceptable attire in the Ice Box for Beach Night presented by Double Eagle on Friday. Tunes from Jimmy Buffett will transform the coldest place in Lincoln into a warm, summer atmosphere.
On Saturday, the Red, White & Blue will be on full display for 'MERICA (Not "America") Night presented by Thunder Alley. The Stars & Stripes will be celebrated with American music, decor and intermission contests featuring a hot dog eating contest and America's game.
"This weekend will provide our fans with an opportunity to escape the winter weather and embrace freedom with some wacky promotions," Stars President Adam Micheletti said. "We are lucky to have great partners in Double Eagle and Thunder Alley."
Puck drop is set for 7:35 p.m. on Friday and 7:05 p.m.on Saturday.
