
Storm Acquires F Jonathan Bendorf from NAHL

Kearney, Neb. - The Tri-City Storm has acquired forward Jonathan Bendorf from the Wichita Falls Wildcats in exchange for future considerations, Head Coach and General Manager Bill Muckalt announced Wednesday.
A first-round pick, 23rd overall, by Wichita Falls in the 2016 NAHL Entry Draft, the 6-foot, 180-lb. native of Yardville, New Jersey is tied for third on Wichita Falls with 13 goals. Bendorf has 24 points in 33 games.
Committed to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the 17-year-old played for The Hun School and Team Comcast (AYHL) from 2014-16. Last season, Bendorf led The Hun School with 46 points and finished second on Team Comcast 18U with 26 points.
The Madison Capitols selected Bendorf in the seventh round of the 2015 USHL Phase I Draft.

Tri-City travels to Plymouth, Michigan for a weekend set against Team USA on Friday, January 27 and Saturday, January 28.
Tuesday, January 31, the Storm hosts the Lancers at the Viaero Center with a 7:05 p.m. puck drop. It's a $2 Tuesday, with $2 Coors Lights, $2 soft drinks and $2 kids tickets.
