Motor City Mechanics News Release
FRASER, MI- The Motor City Mechanics are proud to announce the hiring of Karen Newman as the Director of Ticket Sales and Merchandise.
Newman, a Sterling Heights native takes over all aspects of ticket sales including the implementation of all sales, including group sales and individual sales. She will also be in charge of ordering new merchandise, reordering, and staffing the merchandise table, A.K.A. "the Tool Box" for games.
Many people may be confused by the name but don't worry its only a coincidence.
"I've been known to carry a good tune as well, but for now I will stick to selling souvenirs and tickets," said Karen Newman. "This is a great organization and I look forward to working with this terrific staff! Stop in and see me at the Toolbox!"
The Mechanics return home on Saturday December 10th to face the Quad City Mallards. Saturday also marks the 2nd annual teddy bear toss, as all fans are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear or stuffed animal and throw it on the ice when the Mechanics score their first goal. All of the bears will then be donated to the Toys For Tots organization. ALL YOUTH HOCKEY KIDS CAN GET INTO SATURDAYS GAME FREE WITH THE DONATION OF A TEDDY BEAR!
