
Mechanics fall to Quad City 4-1

FRASER, MI-The Quad City Mallards scored two shorthanded goals on their way to a 4-1 victory over the Motor City Mechanics tonight at the "Garage" in front of 1,677 fans.
The Mechanics got on the board first when Kyle Kos scored his first goal of the season with the helpers by Vlad Serov, who recorded his 100th career assist on that goal, and Peter Szabo.
The rest of the way was Quad City as they turned on the switch and reeled off four straight goals. Samy Nasreddine, Chad Woollard, twice, and Anthony Blumer all scored for the Mallards. Nasreddine and Woolards second goal were both scored shorthanded.
Rod Branch made the start in net making 26 saves on the loss.
