Palmetto, FL - The Las Vegas Aces staved off elimination, Sunday evening, as Angel McCoughtry poured in 29 points, and 2020 MVP A'ja Wilson added an 18-point, 13-rebound double-double in a 84-75 victory over Connecticut in Game 4 of their best-of-five WNBA Semifinals series.

First Quarter (Connecticut 24, Las Vegas 22)
Neither team led by more than 4 during the entire quarter. 6 ties, 6 lead changes.
Second Quarter (Connecticut 38, Las Vegas 37)
The Sun scored the final 2 points of the first quarter, and 7 of the first 9 of the second to go up 31-24. Las Vegas countered by scoring 7 straight to tie the score.
Third Quarter (Las Vegas 65, Connecticut 54)
Las Vegas opened the quarter on a 16-6 run to go up 53-44 with 5:26 remaining. They then scored 12 of the next 18 to go up 65-50, before the Sun ended the period scoring the last 4 points.

Las Vegas' lead vacillated between 9 and 14 the entire quarter.

Las Vegas outscored the Sun 28-16 in the third quarter. Angel McCoughtry had 7 of the team's 12 made field goals in the period, and assists on 3 others. She scored as many points by herself (16) as Connecticut did.
Las Vegas outscored the Sun 46-20 in the paint.
Connecticut went 9-24 from three point range, while the Aces went 1-9.

The Aces were without the services of Dearica Hamby who has a torn right MCL and will miss the remainder of the playoffs.
A'ja Wilson has scored in double figures in 26 straight games (all 26 games this regular and postseason).
Angel McCoughtry moved into sole possession of third place on the WNBA's career postseason steals list, passing Candace Parker. McCoughtry now has 79 steals in her playoff career.
A'ja Wilson recorded her second straight double-double of the postseason with 18 points and a career postseason-high 13 rebounds.
Four members of the Aces starting line up played a season-high in minutes, regular and postseason- Angel McCoughtry (33:25), A'ja Wilson (39:35), Carolyn Swords (26:52), Danielle Robinson (35:50).
The four points the Aces' bench scored were the lowest they have scored in a game this season (17, September 22 vs. Connecticut).

Las Vegas returns home to Palmetto, Florida, Tuesday, for the winner-take-all Game 5 of the WNBA Semifinals. Time and network are still TBD as of this typing.
