Mayhem to Appear at International Night

MACON, GA- Some members of the Macon Mayhem hockey team will be seeing some fellow countrymen and women during a special international night Tuesday October 11th hosted by the Middle Georgia State University volleyball team. The Knights host the University of Windsor from Windsor, Ontario, Canada in an exhibition match at 7 p.m.

Jake Trask, who hails from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, will be the Canadian representative of the Mayhem contingent on hand. Other Mayhem international representatives will be Vadim Guskov (Russia), Stathis Soumelidis (Czech Republic), Nick Grasso, Mark Rivera, Ryan Michel, and Jeff Sanders, all representing the United States.

"This will be a fun night for the whole community," Knights head volleyball coach Orlando Gonzalez said. "I know the Mayhem is getting geared up for training camp and their season, so we want their fans to welcome them to town and also see an exciting volleyball match. It will be a good night for the whole community."

Mayhem players will be on hand starting at 6:30 p.m. to greet fans and sign autograph. The gymnasium is located on the Macon campus of Middle Georgia State University off exit three of Interstate 475. Admission to the volleyball exhibition match is free.

The Macon Mayhem kick off their second season with a pre-season exhibition game against the Columbus Cottonmouths on Friday, October 14th at 7:35 P.M. at the Macon Coliseum! The regular season begins on Friday, October 21st at 7:35 P.M. at the Macon Coliseum against the Cottonmouths. Single game tickets are now on sale through the Macon Coliseum Box Office.
