Ice Flyers Announce 2016 Training Camp Roster

Pensacola Ice Flyers News Release


PENSACOLA, Fla. (Oct. 11, 2016) - The Pensacola Ice Flyers, the 2016 Southern Professional Hockey League President's Cup Champions, and new head coach Kevin Hasselberg announced the team's roster as they enter the 2016 training camp. The roster currently stands at 18 players.

Training camp gets underway tomorrow morning and runs through Friday morning. On Wednesday and Thursday, there will be two on-ice sessions per day at 10 a.m. and 5 p.m. On Friday, there will be one on-ice session at 9 a.m. The Ice Flyers will travel to Columbus, Ga., on Saturday to take on the Columbus Cottonmouths at 6:30 p.m. Central Time for the team's only preseason game. All training camp sessions are free and open to the public.

The Ice Flyers begin the 2016-17 regular season on Friday, Oct. 21, at 7:05 p.m. inside the Pensacola Bay Center when they face off against the Fayetteville FireAntz for Championship Celebration Night. Other games in October will be Football Fundraising Night on Saturday, the 22nd, and Ice Flyers Fight Cancer Night on Saturday, Oct. 29.
