Havoc Announce 2016-17 Training Camp Roster

HUNTSVILLE, AL- The Havoc and head coach Glenn Detulleo announced today their final roster heading into training camp which begins tomorrow.

The lineup is highlighted by recently announced player/assistant coach Stuart Stefan, who enters his sixth season with the club. The Simcoe, Ont. native has 267 professional games while not missing a game in each of the last four years.

Stefan is one of four Ontario natives entering camp with 14 total coming from different parts of Canada. British Columbia has the most Canadian representatives on the team with six, while Alberta sees three with one hailing from Quebec.

The training camp roster touts six returners from last season's playoff roster including Jeff Jones, Scott Henegar and Dylan Nowakowski.

The 21-player lineup boasts 13 combined championships including one ECHL Kelly Cup and one SPHL President's Cup.

Seven different players will see their first taste of the professional game while vying for a spot on the team. This offseason, coach Detulleo recruited four from Northern Alberta Institute of Technology along with two from Elmira College, one from Utica College as well as another from SUNY-Brockport. Justin Tateson and Nolan Kaiser who played together at University of Alaska-Fairbanks will remain teammates this upcoming season.

The coaching staff will employ a three-player rotation between the pipes with Adam Courchaine, Tyler Steel and Gordon Ceasar. Courchaine comes in with the most experience having played the last two years in the SPHL for both the Mississippi RiverKings and the Louisiana IceGators.
