
Mayhem Sign Collegiate Defenseman to Three-Game Tryout

MACON, GA - The Macon Mayhem and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Kerr announced Tuesday that the team has signed defenseman Jarrett Kup to a three-game tryout.
Kup, the Curry College product, adds a second left-hand shot defenseman to the Mayhem lineup. The 24-year-old will be making his professional debut with the Mayhem, and he tallied 11 goals, eight assists and 19 points in 26 games at Curry College this season. Over his four-year collegiate career, Kup had 16 goals, 33 assists and 49 points over 90 games. The Rosseau, ON native played two seasons for the Kingston Voyaguers of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) and was teammates with Mayhem goaltender Charlie Finn during the 2012-2013 season with Kingston.
Kup will debut for the Mayhem on Tuesday at Mississippi, but the team returns home on Thursday, March 1st to the take on the Knoxville Ice Bears. For ticket information, visit MaconMayhem.com or call the Mayhem Front Office at (478) 803-1592.
