Macon Mayhem News Release
PEORIA, IL- In a hard-fought battle, the Macon Mayhem defeated the first-place Peoria Rivermen 5-4.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Dylan Denomme scored the lone goal of the period, assisted by John Siemer and Zach Urban. Peoria scored the first two goals of the second period, but Siemer tied the game at 2-2.
Daniel Gentzler scored once again to take the lead, but the Rivermen tied the game.
After a Rivermen goal, Ian Ecklund tied the game. Then, Peoria's Keegan Bruce tied the game back up in the final minutes.
In overtime, John Siemer scored the game winner to give the Mayhem 64 points.

Macon Mayhem: 29-16-6 (64 points)
Peoria Rivermen: 34-13-4 (72 points)
BACK IN ACTION
The Mayhem hit the road on Friday against the Fayetteville Marksmen.
