Mayhem Add Collegiate Scorer to Strong Forward Stable

MACON, GA- The Macon Mayhem and Director of Hockey Operations Kevin Kerr announced today the signing of collegiate forward Caleb Cameron to a try-out agreement for the 2017-2018 season.

Cameron, the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) product, played NCAA Division I hockey in the Atlantic Hockey Association (AHA) for the past four seasons. In his four years at RIT, the native of Sundridge, Ontario, Canada played had 20 goals, 38 assists and 58 points in 131 games. In his senior season at RIT, Cameron scored reached the 20-point plateau for the first time in his collegiate career, scoring six goals and recording 14 assists in 35 games. He was also a part of three consecutive AHA championships from 2013-2016.

"Caleb had a lot of success playing at a very high level of collegiate hockey," said Kerr. "He won three championships in his time at RIT, so he knows what it takes to win and has that winning attitude. We are thrilled to add a player of his skill and with his accolades to our training camp roster."

The 5-10, 185-pound forward played three seasons of junior hockey for the Listowel Cyclones of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) prior to his time at RIT. In those three seasons, Cameron had 82 goals, 107 assists and 189 points in 149 games.
