OMAHA – The Omaha Royals game vs. Oklahoma, scheduled for 1:35 p.m. Sunday, has been postponed due to rain. It will be rescheduled as part of a doubleheader on Monday, May 5th, beginning at 11:05 a.m.

In Monday's opener, the Royals will look to snap a six-game losing streak and seven-game home losing skid by sending righthander Sean Lowe (2-0, 1.90) to the hill. Oklahoma is scheduled to start righty Reynaldo Garcia (1-1, 6.17). In game two, Omaha southpaw Jimmy Osting (1-2, 4.97) squares off against RedHawks righthander Robert Ellis (0-2, 6.99).

Monday marks the annual Home Run for Youth Day, sponsored by Cox Communications. Over 8,000 school kids from the metro who signed up to be bused to Rosenblatt Stadium will now be able to enjoy a doubleheader. Gates will open at 10:00 a.m.

The twin bill will be broadcast, beginning at 10:45 a.m., on Fox Sports Radio 1490 and on the web at www.Oroyals.com.
