Fayetteville, N.C- Max Cook has been loaned to the Norfolk Admirals of the ECHL, the team announced on Tuesday.

In 13 games with the Marksmen, Cook has registered 15 points (4g, 11a), ranking him fourth in the league for points scored and assists.

Cook rejoined the Marksmen for a second straight season, and for his fourth season of professional hockey. The 27-year-old has appeared in 134 SPHL games among four different teams (Peoria Rivermen, Columbus Cottonmouths, Mississippi RiverKings), and has notched 61 points (21g, 40a), including a personal best 24-point (11 goals, 13 assists) campaign last season.

Before joining the professional ranks, the 6-foot-2, 187-pound forward spent four seasons at Miami of Ohio University. In his time with the RedHawks (2010-14), Cook deposited seven goals and 16 assists in 111 games of action. Before joining the RedHawks, Cook played for the Green Bay Ramblers and the Indiana Ice of the USHL. During his first season with the Ice (2008-09) the team went on to win the Clark Cup, with current Detroit Red Wings Head Coach, Jeff Blashill, at the helm.
