MACON, GA- The Macon Mayhem announced Tuesday that defenseman Chris Joseph has been loaned to the Jacksonville Icemen of the ECHL.

Joseph, 26, has played in all 13 of the Mayhem's games so far this season, recording one goal for his only point. The Levittown, NY native had five goals, seven assists, 84 penalty minutes and a plus-17 rating in 41 regular season games in Macon last season, as he helped the franchise win their first President's Cup as SPHL champions.

The 6-0, 185-pound defenseman is the fourth Mayhem player to spend time in the ECHL this season, joining forward Caleb Cameron, defenseman Vinny Muto, and goaltender Troy Passingham. Joseph has previously spent time in the ECHL, playing five games between the Elmira Jackals and the Evansville Icemen. In his previous time in the league, Joseph recorded no points and a plus-minus rating of plus-two.
