
Mavs to Host Tailgate Party Prior to Game 1 and Game 2

INDEPENDENCE, MISSOURI - The Missouri Mavericks 2016 Kelly Cup Playoffs campaign begins this weekend at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena with the Western Conference Quarterfinals, as the #1 Mavs take on the #8 Quad City Mallards on Saturday, Apr. 16 (7:05p.m.) and Sunday, Apr. 17 (4:05p.m.).
Prior to both games this weekend, the Mavericks will host special tailgate party events, presented by 810 WHB and County Beverage from 4:00-6:00p.m. on Saturday and 1:00-3:00p.m. on Sunday on the Southeast lawn of Silverstein Eye Centers Arena.
The tailgate event is free of charge and open to all ages and will feature a performance by the Jet Black band (Saturday only), inflatables, balloon twisting, face-painting, various food vendors, and samples from Red Bull. Fans can also enjoy $5 craft beer specials, free samples from 360 Vodka, and a Budweiser glass giveaway to the first 300 fans in attendance age 21 and older (Saturday only). Valid photo I.D. will be required for all alcohol sales/samples.
Tickets for Game 1 and Game 2 are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com and in-person at the arena box office.
Round 1 will continue in Moline, IL at the iWireless Center on Wednesday, Apr. 20 (6:35p.m.) and Friday, Apr. 22 (7:05p.m.). If necessary, the series will continue on Saturday, Apr. 23 (7:05p.m.) at the iWireless Center for Game 5 and then return to Silverstein Eye Centers Arena on Tuesday, Apr. 26 (7:05p.m.) and Wednesday, Apr. 27 (7:05p.m.) for Game 6 and Game 7.
