Mavs to Host July 4th Extravaganza
July 2, 2013 - California League (CalL1)
High Desert Mavericks News Release
ADELANTO, Calif. - The High Desert Mavericks will display one of their largest fireworks show in franchise history, following the club's game against the Rancho Cucamonga Quakes at Mavericks Stadium on Thursday, July 4. The Fourth of July celebration does not end there, as the Mavericks will end the three-game series against the Quakes with another fireworks display following the finale on Saturday, July 6.
Thursday's game is at 6:05 p.m., and gates will open at 5:00 p.m. to kick off a six-game homestand through Tuesday, July 9.
The Mavericks will allow fans to bring in one un-opened, non-frozen 20-ounce water bottle per person to the game on Thursday. However, no fireworks in the parking lots, coolers or umbrellas, or other outside food and beverage will be allowed within Mavericks Stadium. Fans planning to sit on the grass are encouraged to bring blankets to the game, as safety reasons prohibit outside chairs.
Fans can purchase tickets for any game of the homestand at the Mavericks Box Office at 760-246-6287.
MAVERICKS TICKETS: Main Street Baseball is bringing its ticket policy - the most liberal ticket return policy in baseball - to the High Desert. Beginning next season, any ticket purchased for any game can be exchanged up to one hour prior to game time for similar seats to any future Mavericks game so long as space is available. Tickets can be purchased at the Box Office, by calling (760) 246-6287 (760-246-MAVS) or at HDMavs.com. Ticket packages start as low as $55 per seat for 10 games.
