Sports Radio 810 - The Mavericks game on Friday night against the Arizona Sundogs will be aired live on Sports Radio 810 WHB with play-by-play announcer Danny Clinkscale. The Mavericks have seven more games on Sports Radio 810 this season including Friday night's game.
20 at home - The Mavericks have played 20 of their 33 home games this season and the first 10 games compared to the last 10 home games has been quite different. In the Mavericks' first 10 home games, the team was 2-7-1 for just five points. In their last 10 home games the Mavericks were 8-1-1 for 17 points including an eight-game win streak at Independence Events Center.
Home stand - The Mavericks are still in the midst of a seven-game home stand. Missouri is 2-1-1 in the first four games and the team will close out the home stand on Tuesday, February 7 against the Rapid City Rush.
Top 10 - Mavericks' forward Sebastien Thinel is sixth in scoring in the CHL with 48 points this season. Thinel has 13 goals and 35 assists in 40 games and his 35 assists are second in the league only behind Evansville's Todd Robinson. Goaltender Charlie Effinger ranks tied for sixth in the CHL with a .918 save percentage and his 17 wins ranks tied for third in the league. Effinger's two shutout victories are one behind the league leader, Fort Wayne's Nick Boucher.
Coccimiglio streaking - Mavs forward Brandon Coccimiglio has registered eight points in his last four games, with four goals and four assists over that period. Coccimiglio is currently sixth on the Mavs in points, with 31 on the season on 17 goals and 14 assists in 33 games.
Nine unbeaten - The Mavericks had their nine-game home unbeaten streak snapped by the Quad City Mallards Saturday night at Independence Events Center. The Mavs won eight straight games, then earned a point in a shootout loss on Friday night before losing in regulation on Saturday night. Missouri is still 8-1-1 in their last 10 home games.
Top six - The Mavericks have six players on their roster with 30 points or more this season. Sebastien Thinel leads the way with 48 points (13-3548), followed by Dale Mahovsky (15-2540), Ed McGrane (17-2239), John-Scott Dickson (18-1634), Andrew Courtney (16-1733) and Brandon Coccimiglio (17-1431).
Saturday sellouts - The Mavericks sold out their ninth game this season at Independence Events Center on Saturday night. In their three-year history, the Mavericks have sold out every Saturday game in January, February and March. In total, the Mavs have 43 sellouts (including playoffs) in franchise history.
Fan support - The Mavericks broke the 100,000-fan mark Friday night and have now drawn 109,179 fans in total for the 2011-12 season. Including playoffs, the Mavericks have welcomed 483,263 fans to Independence Events Center in their three-year history.
Conference race - The Mavericks sit alone in third place in the CHL's Turner Conference with 48 points, leading the Quad City Mallards by one point. Missouri trails the Evansville IceMen by six points in the standings for the conference's top spot and sit four points out of second place, behind the Fort Wayne Komets.
Three or less - One of the Mavericks' keys to victory this season has been holding their opponent to three goals or less. Missouri is 17-1-2 for a .900 win percentage when the team allows three or fewer goals.
