. There are only one iron man among the Bees players this season as only Scott Balan has suited up for all 41 Bees games. Last season two players, Tomas Klempa and Rob Cowan, played in all 66 games.
. The 2011 calendar year has come to a close. The Bees finished with a 25-31-7 during 2011 spread over the end of last season and the start of this year.
. Forward Aaron Lee was named a reserve to the 2012 CHL All-Star game. For Lee it was his first All-Star appearance. The All-Stars defeated Arizona 6-4.
. The Bees have not had much success ringing in the new year historically. The Bees are now 2-8-0 on games on New Year's Eve including this year's 4-2 win over Arizona.
. Mark Kroeze was signed by the Bees on November 5 to serve as an emergency back-up goalie after an injury to Dan Dunn. Kroeze is a Minnesota native who is also the first-ever McAllen City Urban Forester. Kroeze also serves on the Killer Bees off-ice officials crew.
