Allen, Texas - The Allen Americans have a two game weekend set with the Tulsa Oilers this Friday and Saturday night at the Allen Event Center. The Americans trail the first place Wichita Thunder by one point in the Berry Conference.

Tuesday January 24, Americans 2 Arizona 0

Rejean Beauchemin stopped all 24 Arizona shots, recording the shutout and the win as the Allen Americans defeated the Arizona Sun Dogs for the third time in five days by a score of 2-0 at the Allen Event Center. Jeff Martens recorded the first Americans shorthanded goal of the season, while Mark Nebus scored for the second time in as many games.

Friday January 27th Americans 5 Wichita 0

Jeff Martens scored for the second game in a row as the Americans jumped out to a 2-0 first period lead and never looked back cruising to a 5-0 win over the Wichita Thunder. Wichita has yet to be Allen in regulation play in three seasons. Rejean Beauchemin recorded a shutout for the second game in a row,

Saturday January 28th Americans 0 Rio Grande Valley 3

For the third time in a row the Allen Americans were involved a game that resulted in a shutout. The Americans were 2-1-0 in those three contest. Rio Grande Valley goalie John Murray stopped all 35 Allen shots in a 3-0 win for the Killer Bees. The loss combined with a Wichita win dropped the Americans one point behind the Thunder for the top spot in the Berry Conference.

Sunday January 29th Americans 4 Rio Grande Valley 1

Bruce Graham scored two goals, as the Allen Americans split the weekend set with the Rio Grande Valley Killers Bees, after a 4-1 win on Sunday afternoon at the Allen Event Center. The victory kept Allen one point behind the Wichita Thunder who were also victorious on Sunday.
