Notes

Sports Radio 810 - The Mavericks next two games will be aired live on Sports Radio 810 WHB with play-by-play announcer Danny Clinkscale. The Mavericks have a total of 12 games on Sports Radio 810 this season and three more in the month of January.

Home Sweet Home - After a tough start to their home portion of the season in which the Mavericks went 2-7-1 in their first 10 games, Missouri has now won six straight games at Independence Events Center. The Mavericks are now above .500 at home for the first time since their second home game of the season.

Streaking - Mavericks' captain Sebastien Thinel is currently riding a six-game point streak with three goals and five assists during those six games. It is tied for the longest point streak of the season for the Mavericks.

Shutout streak - The Mavericks gave up their first goal in over 100 minutes of play on Sunday against Fort Wayne. Missouri had not allowed a goal in 103:31 until Colin Chaulk's first period goal. It marks the longest shutout streak of the season for the Mavericks and goaltender Charlie Effinger.

Comeback kids - In each of the Mavericks last two home games, Missouri has trailed when heading into the third period. On Friday night, the Mavericks trailed Allen, 4-3, but Missouri scored three unanswered goals in the third period to defeat the Americans, 6-4. On Sunday evening, Missouri trailed the Fort Wayne Komets by two goals with six minutes remaining in regulation. The Mavericks scored a pair of goals to tie the game in regulation and ultimately won in a shootout.

Three or less - One of the Mavericks' keys to victory this season has been holding their opponent to three goals or less. Missouri is 16-0-2 for a .944 win percentage when the team allows three or fewer goals.
