The Mavericks and Thunder continue their rivalry Wednesday night at INTRUST Bank Arena. This is the fourth of nine games between the teams this season and the Mavericks are currently 1-1-1 against the Thunder. The teams have each scored 11 goals in the season series, and after Wednesday's game, the teams will not meet for over one month. Both the Mavericks and Thunder started off the season at the top of their respective conferences through the first seven games, but both teams have slowed down as of late and are each chasing first place. Missouri is currently in second place in the Turner Conference just one point below the Evansville IceMen while the Thunder is in third place in the Berry Conference trailing the Tulsa Oilers and the Allen Americans.

The Americans come to Independence Events Center for the first time since both teams' inaugural seasons in 2009-10. The Americans currently lead the CHL with 19 points on the season and an 8-2-3 record. After starting the season 1-1-1, the Americans have gone 7-1-2 in their last 10 games and lead the Berry Conference by two points. Allen will come into the IEC without a regulation loss on the road as they are 5-0-3 away from Allen. Missouri is 1-2-0 against the Americans all-time and 1-1-0 at Independence Events Center.
Saturday, November 26 - Mavericks at Quad City Mallards, 7:05 p.m. CST

The Mavs and Mallards finally square off Saturday night at i wireless Center in Moline, Illinois. The Mavericks had the Mallards number in Moline last season going 3-0-0 and Missouri outscored Quad City 10-4. All-time, the Mavericks are 5-2-0 against Quad City and this is the first of eight games this season between the teams. Quad City is currently 5-6-0 and in sixth place in the Turner Conference. The two conference rivals will meet four times in the next four weeks and three of the games will take place in Quad City.

Notes
Cushion - Despite going 1-3-2 in their last six games, the Mavs still sit just one point behind the Evansville IceMen for first place in the Turner Conference. Missouri started the season 6-0-0 with 12 points, but the Mavericks have earned just four points in their last six games going 1-3-2.
Road Wins - The Mavericks have the most road wins in the CHL to this point in the season. Missouri is currently 6-1-1 on the road.
Streaks - Mavericks' forward Dale Mahovsky is currently riding a four-game scoring streak with four goals and three assists. The first-year Maverick and second-year pro has scored in all but two of the Mavericks' games to this point in the season. Mahovsky ranks second on the team in scoring with 16 points (8-816) in 12 games played. He trails only Sebastien Thinel who leads the CHL in scoring with 23 points on six goals and 17 assists this season.
Closing in on 300 - Mavericks' forward Ryan Jardine is just four points away from 300 career professional points. The 12-year-veteran missed five games due to injury this season, but has picked up where he left off, scoring four points on a goal and three assists in just seven games of action this year.
Home woes - The Mavs have gone 6-1-1 on the road this season, while only going 1-2-1 at home this year. On the road, the Mavericks have outscored their opponents 28-16, but are being outscored at home 18-16.
