Arizona Sundogs News Release
PRESCOTT VALLEY, Ariz. - The Arizona Sundogs are back on the road for the second time this season for a pair of games before returning home for a Thanksgiving weekend set against Rio Grande Valley

-- LAST WEEK'S GAMES - Thursday vs. Texas, 2-1 Loss
Jordan Kary's shorthanded goal midway through the second period held up at the game-winner after Luke Erickson knotted the game at 1-1 with a power play goal for Arizona. Kary's goal was the first shorthanded marker given up by the Sundogs this season.
Friday vs. Texas, 3-2 Win
JP Chabot scored two goals and Luke Erickson recorded another for his 200th career point as the Sundogs opened up a 3-0 first period lead over the Brahmas. Arizona held off a third period comeback effort by the Brahmas to snap a four-game winless skid.
Saturday vs. Texas, 3-2 Loss
David Nimmo tied the game at 2-2 early in the third period for Arizona, but the Brahmas' Mark Ehl scored the game-winner on the power play midway through. Texas goaltender Steve Silverthorn held off a furious rush by the Sundogs in the game's final minute to secure the Texas win.

Luke Erickson is currently on a six-game point streak. Levente Szuper's .926 SV% is currently 4th in the CHL. The Sundogs penalty killing unit has jumped from 12th in the league up to seventh (81.5%) over the last six games. The Sundogs currently lead the CHL in one-goal games with nine on the year - Arizona is 3-3-3 in those close contests.
