Allen Texas- The Allen Americans (8-2-3) are once again on top in the Central Hockey League after back to back wins over Rapid City last Friday and Saturday night. Allen begins a quick two game road trip this weekend at Missouri and Bloomington.

Tuesday, November 15th Allen 5 Rio Grande 2

Hidalgo Texas- Dylan Kings goal with .06 seconds remaining in the second period put Allen back on top to stay as the Americans beat the Killer Bees 5-2 at State Farm Arena. Americans defenseman Steve Kaunisto collected a goal and an assist in his return from the IR to help lead Allen to the victory.

Wednesday, November 16th Rio Grande 4 Allen 3 OT

Hidalgo Texas- AJ Mikkelson's goal with 45 seconds remaining in overtime lifted Rio Grande to a 4-3 win over the Americans in overtime. It was the first win for the Bees over the Americans this season. Allen went 4-0-1 on their South Texas road trip.

Friday, November 18th Allen 5 Rapid City 4

Allen Texas- Jarret Lukin's first professional hat trick led the Americans to a 5-4 win over Rapid City on Friday night. Bruce Graham chipped in with three assist as the Americans jumped into first place in the Berry Conference.

Saturday, November 19th Allen 6 Rapid City 1

Allen Texas- For the second night in a row an Allen Americans player netted three goals as Bruce Graham scored a hat trick leading Allen to a 6-1 win over the Rush. It was the first time in Americans history the team collected hat tricks in consecutive games. Graham now has six points in two games.

Quick Notes about the Americans

Keith Johnson needs one more goal for number 100 in his professional career.

Jason Deitsch had his 12 game point streak snapped in Saturday's 6-1 over Rapid City. (It was the longest on the Americans this season)

Trevor Hendrikx needs two more points for 100 in his professional career, he has 98.

Bruce Graham is second in the CHL in scoring with 19 points. (9 goals 10 assist)

Marco Cousineau is second in the Central Hockey League with a 2.38 GAA (4-0-1)
